Someone put up a Facebook fan page for these pants worn by the Norwegian Olympic curling team. Currently the page has more than 480,000 fans.
Curling. Pants. Half-a-million fans.
The Relentless Grace fan page has 108 fans. I’m grateful for every one of them, but it does make me wonder about a few things.
Do I need to begin wearing crazy pants?
Should my feelings be bruised because curling pants attract 4500 times more fans than my book?
Can you do curling in a wheelchair?

This fun little video, called PIANO STAIRS, has no redeeming social value–except that it really does. Enjoy.

No, your feeling shouldn't be bruised, but your imagination should be sparked. From the pants to the video, what happened? People were intrigued. They were curious. Something ordinary became different, fun and a thing to be explored. Ordinary pants to outstanding visual stimuli. Grey stairs to a new way to create a concerto.
Wonderful contrasts to me. Something for me to think about as I embark upon my speaking career.
I didn't see that connection–this post was more coherent than I realized!
I love it! Where do you find these videos? You come up with some good ones:)
