I loved this! Especially the part leading up to IRONY. I’m always surprised when God does that, even though he seems to do it all the time.

Someone else in the carnival said there’s also a difference between “patience” and “settling” for less that what’s right. Thre’s a lot in such a simple, common word.

Excellent. You’re so right – there is a difference. Patience is NOT simply passively tolerating adversity. I need to print that off and tape it up somewhere.

I enjoyed your thoughts and can imagine how frustrating this situation must have been.

I definitely lose patience, even when I wish I wouldn’t. The only think I can do is have faith and pray!

See something like this as an opportunity? Ask someone for help? Who, me? What? Next thing you know, you’ll be saying I need to ask for directions.

The chair’s temporarily repaired, so all’s well in the world once more. Amazing how such simple things become tragedies when we lose our sense of what, and Who, really matters.
